With over a decade of experience, I have dedicated my life to empowering individuals to overcome their anxieties, helping them feel confident and thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Born in Istanbul and having spent 13 years in Copenhagen, Denmark before settling in London, I have navigated through diverse challenges. These include single motherhood while working full-time in broadcasting. Alongside, I have pursued my passion for dance, teaching Middle Eastern dancing to women, and fostering body positivity and confidence. It was during this time that I also began my journey to become a psychologist by returning to university as a mature student.

My journey has been marked by overcoming personal hardships, including battling feelings of inadequacy and fear of failure. Through my own experiences and professional expertise, I have helped thousands of individuals break free from anxiety, guiding them to discover their inner strength and regain self-confidence.

METHODOLOGIES

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) combines cognitive and behavioural therapies. The approach focuses on thoughts, emotions, physical feelings and actions, and teaches clients how each can affect the other. CBT is useful to help clients cope with several issues, including perfectionism-based depression, anxiety, and phobias.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a non-hypnosis psychotherapy procedure where a therapist guides the client through images, emotions, and body sensations associated with the trauma. This approach allows the mind to heal psychological trauma alongside physical trauma.

Coaching is helping the client gain clarity on any situation through thought-provoking questions and inspire them to take positive action both on personal & professional levels. Coaching aims to raise awareness and responsibility to unlock potential. Responsibility is generated by offering choice and setting up accountability, which increases confidence, self-motivation and commitment.

Coaching moves the focus of attention on strengths, successes and future possibilities. It leaves behind what is perceived by the client as mistakes & failures and removes judgement, blame and limiting beliefs.

Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) therapy incorporates sensory-based interventions and behaviour-modification techniques to change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and equip you with the right tools and techniques to achieve your desired outcomes.

NLP enables and teaches us to better understand the way our brain processes the words we use and how that can impact our past, present, and future.

The Flash Technique is a cutting-edge therapeutic intervention backed by evidence. It’s designed to reduce the disturbance associated with traumatic or distressing memories. Here’s what makes it remarkable:

Minimally Intrusive: Unlike traditional trauma therapy, FT doesn’t require clients to consciously engage with traumatic memories. It’s a gentler approach.

Trauma Processing: FT allows clients to process memories without feeling overwhelmed or distressed. It opens doors to healing that may have felt locked before. And NOT only traumatic, but all disturbing memories.
